Transition

It’s October and we all are in a transition phase. Weather is getting little tranquil and evenings are getting shorter. We are almost at the end of the year and end of the summer season. But I’m not ready to give up on summer yet. This time of the year is my favourite. It’s not unbearably hot and not sweater wearing cold. You can wear short dresses or fully covered ensemble without being uncomfortable. So we welcome Autumn with a big smile.

This post is about transiting seamlessly into this weather, from summer to autumn. I styled one dress in two ways. Showing how to use one dress in both the weather and style the dress in a new way.

Look 1 : Cold Shoulder

This dress from H&M is everything summer was about this year. Cold shoulder, bright colour and pretty print, everything you needed for the season. Cold shoulders have been rage this year and it’s not fading out yet. I styled this dress in a little boho way with my leather backpack and fringe sandals with hair tied up in boxy braids. I kept this look nice and easy and very comfortable to carry. It’s very simple and can be worn on any regular day.

Look 2 : Boyfriend

I love how boyfriend jeans can easily blend in with everything. I mean you can wear it with everything and it will look amazing. So to transform my summer dress into autumn attire, I just added the ripped boyfriend jeans with the dress and it looked so cool. And to complete the look I added black boots and a hat and this years jewellery favourite, a choker. I kept all the accessories black to give it a dark feel. And there you have it, an edgy way to style up your dress.
