Here we are with the last and most anticipated edition of the series “Indian Wedding” – The Wedding.
This was really a very special day. Firstly because my best friend of more than a decade was getting married and secondly it happened to be my birthday! I couldn’t ask for anything more! I mean I was so excited to share her wedding day with my birthday! It was a double celebration day.
And an occasion that special requires some extra effort to get dressed. So I chose a very girly, almost princess kind of look. I mean it was my birthday too, little indulgence was necessary! So, I got this really pretty and puffy tule skirt custom made and paired it with a sequin top for the extra glamour. And again styled everything with jewellery. I absolutely love the Matha-pati trend, so, I decided to use this one to add some drama to my outfit. I really loved how the whole outfit turned out. And I felt really very pretty on my birthday and my best friend’s wedding day.
Avi too took some extra efforts to dress that day. And oh my! He was looking sharp! Of course he added his little bits to the outfit that added some fun to the boring blazer and trouser look. He paired his formal trouser with a long-line shirt (I told you we are obsessed with long-lines), and added a really nice fitting blazer with some not-so-common jewellery. His look was more like a tailored grunge look which was stunning if you ask me! The collar pin was really very interesting and something guys should try instead of a bow or a tie.
So, this is the end of our very special “Indian Wedding” series. I hope we were successful in giving you some out-of-box looks for a Indian wedding and you guys enjoyed our posts. Do share your views in the comment below and tell us which day was your favourite?!
