Modern Saree 3.0

Just One day to Diwali and we are back with our last installment to the Modern Saree series. And we kept the best for last. Atleast we think that! A saree can be styled in numerous ways but we could only do three of them. Let your imagination loose and you will get so many ideas to drape a saree or pair it with innovative attire.

My love for grunge is never ending. I somehow find a way to style anything and everything in a grunge way. So why not for saree?! Here we styled it over a black tule skirt and used the pant style draping. You can try an ethnic skirt or a tule skirt in a more festive color. And wearing shoes is also thought as a taboo here. But pairing a good oxford or brouges makes a saree more powerful and comfortable to carry too. Again I ditched the blouse and paired it with a leather top. Just to keep my grunge feel going.

So guys try draping your saree over different options. It can be pants, skirt, plazzo pants, or dhoti pants. Anything that suits your style and makes you stand out. So this festive season don’t shy away from saree, instead embrace it. And be the talk of the town.
